My graduation was on May 30, 2008. I woke up to go out to eat lunch with my family for Blake’s 19th birthday, happy birthday Blake! Afterwards, I went to graduation practice. We got home to get ready for dinner and graduation. Shane and Stephanie came in town, we ate at Rosa’s. Stephanie designed a beautiful cake for my graduation. I had to leave at 6:15 for ACE group pictures at civic center. I got into my cap and gown, took some pictures and ate snacks until 7:45. I sat with the sign choir until seniors lined up for the processional. I lead the seniors into the Civic Center since I was first in line. I did not take my seat because I just kept making the circle around the lines of chairs to join the Deaf Choir at the back of the Center. Some people worried that I was not going to graduate. Ha. Ha. After the Sign Choir finished singing “The Star Spangled Banner,” I walked to the front row of the seniors and took my seat. I was privileged to be escorted across the stage by one of the ROTC Guys in his dress blues. So Cool. To make things even more special, My Doctor’s wife is on the School Board and she presented me my diploma and had learned to say Congratulations in sign language just for me. Awesome. I finally graduated from high school! Hallelujah!!!
I want to say congratulation to these people
Congratulations Shane for graduating from law school on May 10.
