Breezy's Wish

As most of you know, Breezy left for her permanent position in Heaven as one of God's Angels. She left me, her mom, a list of things to do. One of those things is to maintain her blog in order to help others. This will be my feeble attempt to follow her wishes and keep the Breezy spirit and miracles circling the Earth while she works to protect it.

This post is just to let everyone have a forum to discuss Breezy, her life and her impact on all the lives she touched.

Got a question? Got a story? Got a special memory? Please post it here.

Now I close today with a letter from Breezy that I found on her computer and that she sent to my email. We love you all!

Dear family and friends,
Something terrible happened to me that I didn’t make it; it didn’t mean I gave up my fight. I may not be here with you all in person but I am with you all in your heart. My spirit will be with you anywhere, I will be watching you. Now I have died and become an angel, I am in God’s hands. Remember the good times we had together, be strong and share it with everyone. I love you all and will be there for you all in your heart. You all have been wonderful people I have met, I will never forget you all, this is not a good bye, and this is a see you later. I will see you all in heaven, if you need to talk to me, I will speak to you in your heart or meet up with you in your dream. I will always be with you in my spirit or my angel figure, I can see you, you can’t see me but you will know I am there.

See you in heaven when it is your turn.

I love you all

hi

i am sorry i haven't written a blog in a while, a lot of things has happened. in nov i was told that i have cancer. i had surgery to remove the cancer on Jan sixth. i just started Radiation treatment, i had to have six weeks of radiation, i am half through. i only have sixteen moore days of radiation. my last radiation is on March 23th then i have to stay for a week or two to make sure everything is good before i come home, then in 3 months i think in may or june i wil go back for check up and my new teeth. i am so tired and in pain but at last i am cancer free. all the doctors are so nice and amazing. i loved each of them. MDAnderson hospital is really wonderful and special, it feels like there is lots of angels and spitits there it made me comfortable not scared. my doctor Dr. Hessel is really special, i adore her. she did the surgery and saved lot of nerves so i can still smile. she believed in me that i can do it and supported me through it. she saved my life. she is doing everything to help me, she hoped that after radiation my gums would heal fast so i can get my new teeth called appliances so i can eat pixxa. i can eat now but soups or soft foods only because my throat isn't strong enough and is sore from radiating. so after radiation it will heal and i will be able to swallow easier and eat more. my family don't have enough money to pay for hotel for two months so we borrowed my grandparents trailer. my grandma and my mom is with me.it isn't fun to live in trailer but at least we have place to stay until its over. trailer park is beautiful, it have lake and fountain. shower stalls is very nice and clean.

i have lost lot of weigh since the surgery but i am working on bring my weight back up. i really miss homeand looking forward to go home

i will write full details about everything later but right now i am so tired and in pain.

love you all

I went to Houston and the doctor used some sort of gun with needle inside my tongue to get some blood and cut off some of my skin, so he can send it to the lab. 2 days later we got phone call by doctor saying i have squamous cell carcinoma cancer. which is the worst news we ever got since i was born. Tomorrow i am going to have cat scan to see how serious it is and to see if we can treat it. please give your love and prayers.

Juan Daniel Cano: Bond set at $250,000.

ARTICLE TOOLS: Email Article | Print-Friendly Format
SHARE THIS STORY: A man wounded in a Saturday morning shooting in Pampa remained in "life-threatening" condition at Northwest Texas Hospital on Monday, Pampa police Detective Casey Ingersoll said.
The shooting occurred at 1:16 a.m. Saturday at a mobile home in the 400 block of Perry Street, where officers found Carlos Hernandez, 19, of Pampa lying on the floor with a gunshot wound to the head, Ingersoll said.

Police arrested Juan Daniel Cano, 25, of Pampa and booked him into the Gray County Jail, where he remained Monday after being arraigned on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Cano's bond was set at $250,000.

Police recovered a .22-caliber rifle they believe to be the weapon used in the shooting, Ingersoll said.

"They got into an argument, and at some point during that argument, Juan Cano retrieved a firearm and shot him once in the head," Ingersoll said.

"As it stands right now, it's life-threatening," Ingersoll said. "That may change."

Police have not determined a motive for the altercation, but "both had been drinking," Ingersoll said.

"Juan does have a history with police here," Ingersoll said.

The shooting followed the Sept. 19 fatal stabbing of Luis G. Acosta, 48, of Pampa. Ronnie Gene Carter, 45, also of Pampa, was charged with murder and remained in the Gray County Jail on Monday on $1 million bond.

"I wouldn't call it a surge of violence, but it is a little bit odd that we ended up with two critical incidents back to back," Ingersoll said.

Carlos Hernandez, 19, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008. Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Good bye Carlos, I will always think of you. you are my friend, I grew up with you since preschool, we were childhood sweetheart and we were good friends through school years and high school. I will miss you.

I owe you

Thank you for your patience, I has been really busy and suffering.
I am sure I owe you lot of details.

I had really good vacation in Colorado before college start, unfortunately pictures I took isn’t good. Right now my head is full and I can’t remember much about the trip. But when I do I will write down and post it up here.

College is going really good, some difficulty but not important to tell you yet. I really liked classes.

Basic Reading. Really easy but lot of work
Student Success. Its ok but lot of papers to do
Intro to the Deaf Community (online course) it’s my favorite class. My interpreter is nice but I am having problems with her and interpreter/deaf policy. This isn’t important yet.

I have virus in my mouth that looked like a huge hole in my tongue and it looked like it is eaten away, it started in April or May and it has got worse where I couldn’t eat or drink without unbearable pain. Doctor sent me medicine for it but it is a hang on virus which last really long time and it is working but not better yet.

Debbie had a hole in her heart which she took surgery for it in AZ, she is doing really well. Debbie also have fungus in her spine, I don’t know what her doctor is planning but only thing I know that is that she will go back in 6 months, I think?

My grandma and grandpa will have 52 years anniversary of their marriage soon, they are going on cruise next week. Congratulation Tutu and Popeye!

Shane got new job in Dallas, Shane and Stephanie moved there last month. Shane loves his job. I am really proud of him.

That is all I can tell you right now, when more things come up I will post. I hope you have a good day and be safe from these horrible hurricanes, be careful and always watch weather. Drive carefully, and be extra careful. Always wash your hands before and after.
