Prom 08

Prom night was awesome!!!!! Should I start telling you at the start of the morning or start of the prom night? Well, I chose to start the story at the start of the morning, okie dokie?

My mom had a doctor’s appointment in the morning at 8, so I slept a little late - until about 9:30. I woke up and watched some kids’ show. When mom got home, I took shower and got dressed in my comfortable clothes. I only had one class that day, so I waited until it was time to go. I wasn’t watching the time, so I had to hurry and get to school. I was almost late to class, but I am lucky; I got into the classroom on time.

We had free time in Government class, so I chatted with my interpreter Eliza. She is awesome! I really love her! Then I chatted with my friends Rachel and JJ. The class ended.

I got home and sprayed some more “tan-in-a-can” on my skin to keep tanned. My skin won’t let the spray stay very well. I think a tan looks good on me. I put on some lotion to make my skin shine a little then, I got my makeup and nails done. By that time it was 6 pm so I got into my dress and got my hair done. My friend, Tishell, came and we smiled for the pictures. Then, We got into the car. This year, I arrived in a Lexus. Pretty cool.

We arrived at the Prom “fashionably late” and we sat at the table with my other friends from school. More friends came and sat with us. Eliza came to help deaf group - mostly me. We danced all night and were having so much fun! After the prom we all went to eat at I-Hop.

I am pretty sore today but not too bad, I had lot of fun and I am sad that I will be graduating soon. There will be no more Proms for me. However, I am definitely looking forward to graduation.
